La Asociación Española de Pacientes que sufren dolor por diferentes patologías acaba de realizar una encuesta a 500 pacientes de su registro de personas afectadas en las que más de 35% de ellos comentaron que quisieron dejar de luchar en algún momento de su vida. De ese 35%, todos los pacientes -menos uno- comentaron que finalmente decidieron no rendirse por motivos familiares como, por ejemplo, el cuidado y el amor a un familiar o a un hij@ pequeño que aún dependía de él o ella. Por ese motivo, siguieron luchando a pesar de su dolor.

Por este motivo, AEPA ATM desarrolló este proyecto ?El amor está por encima del Dolor?. Nuestro Objetivo: Que ningún paciente se rinda.

In a survey which was done to 500 patients of our register of people who suffer from pain from different diseases, more than 35% of them had thought of giving up. Of that 35%, except one, they said they would continue their struggle to care for a relative or a child.

(AEPA ATM) is developing this project. Our goal is to prevent patients from giving up. For the last 9 years we have treated more than 2,500 patients who suffered from pain. Many of them had been diagnosed with Chronic Pain. More than half of them have completely overcome their pain and have left the Pain Units.
